All these changes probably make you go insane, but this one is final: SS13DL has gone public!
The host files for SS13DL are available on the
downloads page and anyone may freely download and run their own server however they see fit.
I am however looking for developers who like to work on SS13 and want a no-nonsense branch to work on. This branch of SS13 is dedicated to purifying SS13 while still keeping some of the "silly" features that were included in the past. It aims to please both those that want features to mess around with as well as it pleases those who would want a "pure" station to toolbox people in.
Are you that kind of person? Then please e-mail me at
data@ss13.net and we'll discuss the possibility of your inclusion into the development team.
Granted, this development team at present only contains one person - which seems to be a laughable matter for some people - but you've got to start somewhere, right?
Please note that this branch does not follow a strict hierachy. Anyone on the development team will be equal to one another (even equal to me). If you can manage to get on the team, you can't get kicked off all of the sudden without a
very good reason (which probably needed a majority vote): the only requirements to join the team are that you're a decent coder or programmer looking to work on something refreshing, and that you can work in a team and respect the equality I'm trying to preserve.
Thank you for reading this. I hope you will consider joining this branch and what it represents, even if this means you cannot mess around with the source-code yourself.
